If you own a car chances are that you was it and keep it clean most people do especially in the summer. A car now is an extension of our personalities it represents a major investment of several thousand pounds, we also keep them for longer that our parents did as they are more technically advanced and will handle the miles better that they used to.

But this blog post isn't a history of the motor vehicle, I want to tell you about a new product you really should be using. Just as motor vehicles have came a long way in the past 100 years car care products have also moved along dramatically too. Gone are the days of the old turtle wax tin and your mothers yellow duster. Today we have nano technology car care products that we can apply to every interior and exterior surface that out last and out perform tradition car care products on every level.

OK so now lets talk about waxing the car, this was a bit of a misnomer as this great new product that does this isn't a wax.  #Gyeon Q2M wetcoat is a spray-on, rinse-off, silica-based coating designed to be applied after hand washing but before drying off, i.e. during the final rinse process. As a direct result of being treated, exterior surfaces become more radiant looking and extremely hydrophobic. The latter effect is the most pronounced, not only in relation to the sudden dramatic improvement in water beading it causes, but also in terms of the self-cleaning properties it imparts (by actively repelling rain and road spray, more dirt and grime is carried away instead of being allowed to accumulate in situ). Consequently this makes routine maintenance washing quicker and easier, as the interval between washes can be comfortably extended, and the need for quick detailing is eliminated. These benefits apply all year round, but are particularly welcome during the winter months, when washing becomes more of a chore. Durability is up to three months, or twelve washes if you clean your car more frequently than once a week.

Wetcoat comes pre-diluted to the correct strength for safe exterior use, and should be applied to cool, clean, wet surfaces at the end of your usual hand washing process. For best results, lightly mist GYEON Q2M WETCOAT onto small sections at a time (no larger than a panell) and then spread it as thinly and evenly as possible using a fresh wash mitt. After spreading it, allow it to dwell for a maximum of 1-2 minutes before rinsing it off thoroughly (the use of a pressure washer is recommended). Once all sections are treated rinse one final time (to ensure that every last trace of residue is fully removed) and then towel the car dry; a little goes a very long way when you apply it using the mitt method described above.

Finally, note that you should never apply wetcoat in direct sunlight or allow it to dry out before rinsing it off.

This is an amazing product and I must confess I'm a bit of a late joiner but if you're still on the turtle wax and your mothers yellow duster get with the cool kids #detailing with nanotechnology products.
