It's fifty years to the day that Yuri Gagarin launched himself into space – surely one of the bravest things that any human being has ever done. So, in a lighthearted tribute, I thought I'd highlight that there must be something in the Russian water that makes you want to shoot for the stars, because first Evgeny Novikov in Finland in 2009 and then Vitaly Petrov in Malaysia last weekend have also made valiant (although slightly less successfully) efforts to launch themselves into space...

Haha, I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing the Petrov incident, crazy! He's had a steady start to the season though, but is definitely a better driver than he is pilot! haha

I take it the Rally car wasn't trashed and continued in the rally okay? Rally cars are made to take the jumps, F1 cars aren't!
