Cheers the lads! Strictly coherent Mik in fear of being shot down immediately as i have witnessed before lol. You're a hostile bunch at times! Im an MSc graduate and was living and working in Atlanta for a year for Coca-Cola as a financial analyst. J1 visa expired and its back to RHD, rain and MOTD for me lol. Contemplating a move to Surrey at the minute for a job and thought that by joining this community i may be able to bounce some questions about in future days and weeks

Uh oh, lolbird mk2! Welcome to the forum Paul. We do have a couple of Surrey dwellers, as we have a couple of NI dwellers as well.

Well what i know about Surrey (and the prospective job/industry) i could write on the back of a stamp! But i am intending on coming over for a look-see in March. Despite the education and strong work experience finding a job here is harder than finding a "good" AE86 that isnt diffed into oblivion

Has anyone asked the usual questions yet: 1. Does he aspire to BMW ownership? (preferably E46 M3 or an M5)
2. Are Revels and accepted form of currency?
3. If he has a girlfriend - will she/ does she? If yes to all of the above he's in. Otherwise a black ball looms ... B_T_S

Surrey's a pretty big place and ranges all the way from London suburbs to semi-rural. Some very nice areas and some not so nice. Give us a hint about where you're looking

Funnily enough I was listening to confessions on Radio 2 drivetime the other night and it was about some bloke being lost at night in Kingston-Upon-Thames. They were talking about whether it was a rough neighbourhood, and someone said they didn't think there was any rough neighbourhoods in Kingston. Made me chuckle and mutter 'yeah right'!
