SEEING AN OLD CAR IN THE HANDS OF A NEW OWNER
Previous | 1 | Next

Fine if its been looked after, not fine if its on ditch finders, horrid wheels, been painted matt green and the motor which was tuned nicely is now sounding like a bag of bolts with half the stuff I had done to it replaced with god knows what.

Feel like buying it back and putting it back to its former glory. Car is, was, an early Opel Manta in immaculate condition

I saw an ex-girlfriend's (yes/yes back then) pic on Facebook. She'd piled on the pounds, cut her hair short, got loads of piercings and looked like a butch bull dyke. It's much the same thing.

What's the difference between a BMW and a hedgehog?

I've seen Ex GF's go bad but not to that degree

I think it's only note worthy because the car had some sentimental value, quite a few good memories and holidays were had/made in the car. It had a complete ambience about it too, something I can't say a modern car does for me.

The heart is telling me to consider buying it back... :(

Far better than the ex-g/f looking butcher's-dog fit, shirley?

Do it.

One if my other ex-GFs turned out to be a lesbian. I seem to have this ability...

I was trying to refresh the wank bank. The scariest part was how much she'd started to look like her Mum, and we both used to call her The Poisoned Dwarf.

I've had an ex dye her hair and cut it to "wind me up" after we split. Kind of back fired when I didn't see her for several months. She then promptly turned into a blob

believe me you'd rather have an ex turn into a fat disgusting lesbo then be chased around by one. scary stuff. especially when her dad is a fake obese hard man you feels the need to tweet you about his daughter.

Pain don't hurt

At risk of going back to the original topic, I saw my old Corrado VR6 for sale a couple of years ago on a PH advert. It had Porsche 993 Turbo style wheels, blacked out lights, lowered etc; looked cared for but tastelessly modified. Quite sad, but it was a decade or more since I'd sold it.

I didn't see it luckily but a friend who bought my immaculate Escort RS turbo tore one of the front struts off after hitting a kerb at speed :(

Someone linked to my MK1 Golf GTi on ebay, it had been comprehensively ruined. :(

I see my Micra quite often. Owned by an old lady.

I'm pretty sure she doesn't drive it like I used to

Badly? :D;)

Too many old sheds.

[quote="Jobbo" but tastelessly modified.

I don't think you and the word taste in the same sentence are appropriate. I have seen the interiors you like.
