Why do they all have a limit of circa £250 per item for lost/stolen possesions? That's useless for people with cameras/ipads/iphones etc

It's probably the easiest incident to claim.

And anything less than 250 sheets you'd probably just replace yourself.

Wrong way around, £250 is the maximum claim, per item

Our NatWest Travel Insurance is £1500 total loss limit with £300 per item. Won't replace everything if you loose the lot but a bit better

I doubt anything I bring on holiday with me is individually worth more than £250.

On a similar note, why would you want to take an ipad/tablet on holiday?

Same reason you might like running water or electricity on holiday?

Yes, I'm travelling to the other side of the world to watch YouTube videos and nose around Facebook when I could do it at home.

I can think of a few things worth more than £250. SLR camera, iPhone, dildo etc.

I do bring my netbook along, to copy photos from my camera. I could easily do without it though - do people really think that their lives, or holidays are ruined without a tablet to play with? They're only a fvcking toy Being able to wash yourself every now and then and have lighting are a bit more essential, IMO
