2 years ago we settled on what netbook we waanted and were going to treat ourselves at Christmas (it was one of those Toshiba's a few on here have/had). Only none wree in stock, and none were in stock for months after, so we gave up. Finally decide before Christmas that we're going to get an Asus Transformer Pad but find none in stock. Still none in stock in Feb. Although I was tempted at John Lewis to splurge another £130 and get a returned Transformer Infinity instead (£100 under list).

Everyone buying stock before Christmas and manufacturers taking opportunity during quiet time after Christmas to change models/production process after Xmas non shocker. Wait 'til the spring

Thankfully, they're back in stock, and we had a £25 voucher just arrive from John Lewis. So £354 and pick it up Saturday. I've not treated myself to anything tech-related in donkeys years now so am really looking forward to having a toy to play with.
