Definitely more special. The interior is in a shade of red bordering on the Jobbo-esque.

Seen loads of these awful things in central London, including "722" versions. Slushbox-only - check
Expensively made of carbon but still too heavy (> 1500 kgs) - check
Huge outside yet cramped inside - check
Twice the price of a much better 599 - check
Confused combination of sports car and grand tourer - check
Vulgar OTT styling that attracts the worst kind of rich buyer - check I would SO much rather have an SLS (which actually honours the Gullwing legend) or even better a 599 or an LFA.

You're incorrect about the price, remember seeing either on Evo or Pistonheads somewhere there was a link to an advert to an SLR that was listed for under £100k

Nice spot and looks great at the angle you photographed. Not into the overall look though.

Have you sat in one/driven one? Ferrari 599 GTB - 1688kg.
Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 - 1565kg. Quite a lightweight compared to these 2? It's also lighter than the GTO.

Not a huge fan of the SLR, but the 722 is the car that should have been launched from the outset. Interior and wing mirrors needed a lot more thought put into them. Nice spot though

I prefer the Carrera GT. Mercedes and Mclaren just didn't gell well together when it came to road cars.

Plus the SLR was on of the first HyperCars which could allow you to travel 1000 miles per day without feeling tired as it had all the amenities of an S-Class.
Very few current Supercars can pull that off.
