The racing was made interesting by the quick wearing tyres. It will maybe shake it up a bit at the tsart of the season until the teams get a handle and the top teams end up at the top.

I think its odd that the teams spend millions (or more?) making superfast cars with superslippery bodies that are made out of exotic cf and previous metals with sophisticated technology and hybrid power - and they are given tyres made of blancmange - coz it makes the racing more fun.
