My 5yo daughter has only gone and broke her Nintendo DSi that Santa brought her. Dropped it on the floor as she was so engrossed in playing a game while walking up the stairs. I've looked at youtube vids on replacing the screen but I don't think my fat fingers are up to it.

Most mobile phone repair shops will do other electronic items, worth a try for £40?

I'd be more concerned with making sure she knows not to do that. Mates son did that a few years back with a Gameboy Colour, but he lost his balance and followed the GBC down the stairs and broke his arm quite badly....

I've changed screens / hinges / cases on youngest sproglet's DS over the years (not a DSi). A bit fiddly in bits with the flexi edge connectors. If you are worried - it doesn't cost much more to get them to do it. examples only ?

Santa doesn't exist, therefore her Nintendo DSi doesn't exist. In fact, I'm starting to wonder if your daughter exists, or even whether this thread exists.
