Did the 600 mile round trip for this XKR on Friday, had a short list of 2 cars, 997 convertible or one of these, very happy with this so far, and its better on fuel than I expected!
Here are some pics :D

V. nice indeed! 8)

They do look stunning but prefer the hardtop personally. However, the old fashion rising aerial makes my OCD twitch.

Everything Alex said (although I didn't know about the aerial).

Personally LOVE the old aerial! I think it's funny.

Cool car, with the roof down.

I might have bought the hardtop though, and not in black.

Cool though.

+1 on the aerial, they look outdated.

Love this generation of XK though. Great looking car.

Love it! My step dad has the regular '4.2' version. At first I was convinced he should have bought the coupe, but as the salesman said, one day he'd have come across someone in a roadster with the roof down and been green with envy. I hope it's good to you!

love that, and I think you were right to get the convertible 8)

I agree about the aerial, reminds me of a 90's corolla!
I prefer convertibles to coupes, the exhaust note alone makes me forget about the handling benefits etc of a coupe

Once you own a convertible it's very hard to go back to coupe, as I'm sure you appreciate! V10 R8?!
