THE VETTE GETS 'EM WET

Wow. I need to earn more money. I gotta get myself one of these.
New Corvette C7

(But I am completely unwilling to give up the GT-R.)

Real life with cars

Nice true lies reference :D

Done.

Some Ferrari touches, some Lamborghini touches, but I like it too.

AmperaWomenCar Trade

Looks like a re-bodied 599 to me.

Still like it though!

looks lovely

I like it. Rear lights are similar to the current Camaro, but I suppose that's ok being both Chevy's.

I hope it sounds like a C6R.

Looks wise it is an improvement, but how much of it is plastic this time?

Bunta's Tofu

Personally I think it's appallingly ugly.

I was just thinking that debadged you could almost pass it off as something Italian (haven't seen the interior yet).

All of it, as per every Vette ever made. What's wrong with that?
Although I'm sure it uses some CF too.

Only disappointment is they've still persisted with the transverse monoleaf springs. Mine handled and rode so much better when I replaced them with some decent coilovers.

Not that expensive to convert, so not a dealbreaker.

Possibly to an American who hasn't been out of the States or seen an Italian car:lol:

Nothing per say - I just remember seeing a lot of Vettes in LA and in white or yellow the plastic looked a little cheap to me.

Still - who cares if it goes like stink and sounds like a Le Mans car its all good in my book.

Bunta's Tofu

I think the exhausts are a bit OTT though:

For Mr Yu:

I like it a lot. Except for the quad exhaust, there should be a gap.

3 - 2 - 1 - Go.................

Not that much similarity bar the front wing vents, which Chevy did before Nissan.

It is a LOT better looking than the GT-R though, as my C6 Z06 was too.

Shame weight has not gone down further, although the C7 Z06 has not been announced yet. Should be awesome.
ZR1 will be quicker, but unless they've massively improved the intercooling, the supercharger gets too much heat soak for track use.

Yep, they're definitely two cars... that's the point you were making no?!

On the point of the exhausts I imagine they thought that Ferrari have centrally mounted three exhausts, therefore they must do it with four!
