Do GT2s come in Clubsport and Comfort guises? Or is it just one spec?

996 I think so, 997, I've no idea.

Hope that helps

Nice GT2, too

This one has CCM brakes - is that standard?
(even if it is there are certainly kits for steel discs - which I'd strongly recommend as running cost of CCM exceeds the benefits).

Not sure if it's standard but it's a common option on the GT models. People that track their cars tend to switch to steels due to the eye-watering cost of new discs. Something like £8k a pair IIRC.

It's not a Golf | Neither is this | This one's just a posh Beetle

I've already seen this one in my trawling the internet for suitable cars and yes they come in CS and Comfort versions (I want a White CS version).

The carbon brakes are standard - the first thing I would do is remove them, as I have been advised that the stability control EATS rear discs, and as said, they are eye wateringly expensive to replace, so would do the usual thing of fitting steel discs and saving the carbon ones for posterity.

I am still somewhat short of the required funds, so I doubt it will happen this year, unless the Escort goes before the end of summer (which would still end up requiring finance, something I am not keen on). However, if I decide to keep the Escort, then the Porsche won't happen until at least 2015.

Nordschleife - there's only two barriers to worry about - the ones on the left and the ones on the right!

This is the kind of spec I'm after:
White GT2 CS

Although I'm not keen on this one's colour-coding of grill and splitter, that is an easy sort.

Obviously as time goes by, the prices are coming down, but some are to be avoided (apparently the cheap silver one on Piston Heads has had several over-revs logged in the ECU, so "might" prove difficult obtaining a full Porsche warranty, which is why it is so much cheaper than the rest (which is a shame, as the spec and colour are both quite nice, and it even has the steel discs already fitted)).
Cheap(ish)

What classes an over rev? Hitting the limiter?

Strong Broo Racing

Shifting to a lower gear while going too fast for that gear, I.e. you go over the red line. It blows the warranty on any car, it's the first thing Alfa looked at when my gearbox went. I'm surprised the sh1tty Mito logged that kind of stuff.

How about not having a sig at all?
