The road tester says it has an 8 speed dual clutch 'box, I thought it was an auto? On another note, M135i has to be one of the best value new cars out there, it's performance figures are staggering, as quick as a 400bhp e39 M5. Very tempting

They sound pretty good for a run of the mill 30k hatch as well

Interesting to note that an e46 m3 weighs 3,415 lbs unladen while the 135m weighs 3,344 w/ the auto and 3,311 with the stick.

The one Autocar tested came in at 50kg lighter than the old E46 M3 .......or to put it another way , about 100kg more than a CSL. That was an 8-sp auto one though
