"Jack Klugman, who starred in hit TV series in the 1970s and 80s, has died at the age of 90.

He passed away in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, his son Adam said, without giving further details.

Klugman played a no-nonsense medical investigator in Quincy M.E"

Yeah - it's only been mentioned on this forum about 10 million times!

I used to like Quincy, I had the tune as my ringtone on my Nokia 3210 - it used to confuse a lot of people. RIP

RIP. Quincy was always a good watch.

Never realised Gilles was a Southern fanny though. He seemed like such a decent chap. I shall eye him with suspicion from this day forth ;)

His son Adam couldn't give more details because he is not the genius his father was.

Loved Quincy.
