So after quite a lengthy interview process, I've finally been accepted as an Assistant Manager in a 4* hotel in old Lyon. This means I no longer have to work nights and will get to see some great cars again.

I had initially been head hunted, but there was another person as well. I had three interviews in total. The fist with the Hotel Manager, the second with the Group Manager and the third was a show down between me and the other candidate with the owners of the group! This last one I had never heard of before and we had to explain why we are better than the other .

Anyway, I got the job with (almost) the wage I had asked for. I start mid January and am really looking forward to being in the new position.

So, as normal, should any of you pass through Lyon, PM me and I'll try to sort something out .
