Anybody know what the workshop time to replace a clutch on a mini one (1.6) would be?

about 4 hours.

a specialist who does them regularly could probably do it in 3, a garage that's never done one maybe 5.

Too many old sheds.

Timings are standardised at dealers... as them for a price if you don't want a shock after you agree a price.

local mini specialist quotes £299 inc vat for a new clutch + fitting, and list the clutch kit on it's own as £130.

Thanks Gents.

Father in law is a mechanic for a building firm and looks after all their plant and commercial vehicles. His boss's Daughter's mini needs a clutch so he was looking to find out a rough workshop time for the job.
