One owner, 51k mile Impreza Wagon in seemingly unmolested form (original radio, might have PPP looking at the exhaust):

And a possible record rate of depreciation of over £5.60 per mile for this Merc CL65 AMG:

I like the CL - but something tells me it hasn't quite finished depreciating.

Liking the dogwagon, but I am banned from even looking at Scoobies on snobbery grounds

Just wait for a few minutes more before buying the Merc and you'll be able to fund the Subaru purchase with the savings made from additional depreciation.

That Merc would be simply awesome when it hits sub £40k.

MrsREV still misses our Scooby. She hated the idea of it but loved it when we got it. Perfect for your new job.

I'm planning to get the train. It takes 10mins.

Prepare for Tim-style rants.

I'd get the train if I could have a compartment to myself, with a heater I can control and a radio. And I'd like to be able to drive it to wherever I want to go whenever I like and for it to be available to me outside my front door.

Technically, it's Sand. You should like it, it is exclusive. :?

Massive soft spot for the CL, but as mentioned before I'm nmot keen on the creme/tan/beige leather.
If i won the lottery this would be my daily drive, wafting around smoking cigars:lol:

10min train ride or 60-90 minute drive in rush hour. (ignoring 10min drive to station).
Mind, last time I had the same choice, I ended up driving :D
