You're a big man, but you're in bad shape. With me it's a full time job. Now behave yourself.

That's something you don't see every day. Unless you're said tank driver, or helicopter pilot. In which case it might be.

It's pretty cool, but wouldn't it be far easier just land next to the tank and real a hose out?
(I suspect I'm missing the obvious, here)

MI5 have confirmed he had committed suicide using the traditional Russian method: He shot himself 3 times in the head then hid the gun.

It's obviously much safer to hover the aircraft 15ft above the tank.

They aren't re-fueling but something almost as cool
Presumably the blokes jump off first!

Doesn't look like the same tethering. Are you sure the first photo (which is a stunning photo) isn't re-fueling?

Isn't that just a little bit dangerous, hovering so close to the tank? I'm struggling to see any real advantage from that.

Look at the chains on the tank, and although poor quality the second photo appears to have the same yellow 'hook' on it.
IMHO they are about to lift the tank, not refuel it.

i would say you are correct, you can see cables over the top of the APC (not tank ) the hook must be just out of sight which makes the top of the hook look like a refueling module
