1980S THEMED PARTY
Previous | 12 | Next

Our work's Xmas do has an optional 80s theme. Part of me doesn't want to be one of the 3 people that bothers but I thought I'd try and come up with a few ideas.

So, can anyone lend me a Porsche 928 and a pair of espadrilles?

I'm thinking Miami Vice is the way to go here: jacket with rolled up sleeves etc.

What do you think?

Miami vice is the default easy choice - jimmy saville would be better though!

Talking of sofas, shame it's not a 90s theme, I could go dressed like this:

There you go! Is your other half oing? If so, get a big hair wig, power-suit with NFL shoulder pads and you are good to go!;)

A friend of ours did Jimmy Saville last year, poor taste now but might raise a laugh or too if it's not full of Daily Fail readers.

I plundered Gwaredd's Facebook archive. I'm sure he'll get his own back at some point.

Anyway, I've decided to go as Mike D from the Beastie Boys. I've got some old hi tops, some stonewashed black jeans. I just need some fake gold bling chains and a big VW badge which I'm sourcing on eBay.
