No matter how many times I tell them not to, someone in the office will be stuffing their face while calling a customer. FFS, you get a lunch hour, several fag breaks, isn't that enough time to eat ? Yesterday was the best, staff member popped 2 polo mints into his gob before calling a customer and proceeded to crunch them open-mouthed during the call. I said "Don't bloody crunch on the phone to a customer".. and got a "what ? what have I done wrong ?" expression.

Make sure that when you fire them - over the phone - you're eating crisps.

I hate it too. Sounds incredibly unprofessional to the person on the other end. We don't tend to eat at our desks unless it's something small and the phones are dead. Another one I hate is coughing down the phone, just hold it away from your face you filthy twunts.

It's very distracting when the girl at the other end of the phone, who you're speaking to at work, is loudly sucking on a lolly pop.

If you didn't say "I hope that's a lolly pop you're sucking on". I shall unfriend you immediately.
