Forums > Any other business > F1, Renault, sponsorship

It has just been announced that Infiniti becomes for 2013 the main sponsor of Red Bull Racing; as everybody knows Infiniti is the luxury brand of Nissan, itself a part of the Renault-Nissan group.
Some weeks ago the partnership between Caterham and Renault was unveiled.
So Renault can inject money (directly or indirectly) into two teams that will be officially charged for buying Renault F1 engines - meaning that the price will not need to reflect any real value.
On the other hand it seems that Lotus F1 (although it actually directly comes from the old Renault F1 team) does not have any link with Renault, apart from being a customer for its engines - I wonder what it means for the future (for instance will Lotus go for another supplier in 2014?)

Dacia will announce sponsership somewhere soon ;)
