This is, to be fair, my fault. I have introduced the need to take out a wall, to buy a new range, to buy a new large fridge etc.

We could get a nice new kitchen for a few grand (It's not a big space) but it's now likely to be 6 or 8 k

Unless you eat Pot Poodle or rummage through bins for your grub Mito, a kitchen is pretty essential part of the home

Other than a lumpier cam + remap to suit for the '''8, but that is a £2k present, which isn't realistic, and would also alert her to the fact that it costs £2k (or £4.5k from forum-favourite-specialist Monkfish, as they reckon I'd need new headers, sports cats etc etc to make it worthwhile).

Ali just bought me a Martin guitar which was more than generous enough for my birthday (Sunday) and Christmas. I also get EVO and Classic and Sports Car subscriptions.
