Hi, Is there anything that sits between a 4 lap Experience (possibly from £100) and a full day arrive and drive hire (probably upwards of £800). Mate wants to do a track day in an Elise or Exige. Do any companies do turn up and drive just for a session or two?

Only thing I can think of are the instructed things Club MSV do on their trackdays, which is classroom then 2x 20mins sessions on track. It's in their Peugeot RCZs though. Varies with venue and date but around the £200-250 mark.

Could do one of those caterham hire things at a normal track day. Not much more than an "experience" and you get to mess about all day and arrange tuition separately if you want.

The AMG experience at merc world is good - not a proper track day, but an hours hooning is good fun/value.

Cheers, will pass on details of the Club MSV one. Forgot about the AMG stuff, good thinking (and not far away).
