With regards to your 'end of term' article on the Mini JCW coupe, I have to ask: How the hell are you managing to achieve four wheel drifts at 20mph with the ESP on?!?!?

Add a disappointing set of winter tyres to the warm tarmac of last year's mild winter, and you get a distinct lack of grip. Not big drifts, obviously, but a relatively unpredictable change between grip and slip made for some interesting drives!

What tyres were they? I find the winters just fail to grip in the warm and wet but not to the point where they can do 20mph drifts
