Previous | 1 | Next

Been a good workhorse but now surplus to requirements. Good working order but no box. Was originally a 500GB model, but I stuck a 1.5TB disk in a couple of years ago. Say £80-ish delivered to the UK?

Last chance @ £70 all in for a cheap reliable NAS.

I am considering your offer :D

Beany reckons its only worth £50 CASH ?

 The drive goes for more than that second hand. Some local fella bought it a few days back anywho. Cheers tho.

Good darts. I'll have nose on eBay :D

A NAS is new technology to me and the Buffalo stuff has great reviews in terms of ease of connectivity to mobile devices that have well supported apps.

Are they all much of a muchness?

The linkstation is a beast in comparison

Cheers Nath, I'll keep an eye for a cheapo link station on eBay and go from there if the kids and wife use it :D

Got a Linkstation. It's cracking. :)

What's the best type/manufacturer to run for stressing media source?

I used to be confused and now I'm not so sure.

Money no object? Netgear ReadyNAS pro - the business ones. Will laugh at your pathetic request for multiple HD streams.

Consumer level? Something with two or more drives (for redundnacy) from QNAP most likely.
