I did the same thing back in 2001 against an R1 - the Cossie won overall, but as per Chris's video, it was only by the end of the runway that it clawed it back. For safety reasons, we did each run separately, other than for the photography:
 
This was done using Datron timing gear though, rather than "speedos" .

It was fun - even with 235 tyres on the back, it would leave black lines accelerating from 45mph to 85mph in the dry . The Escort with 4wd is a bit too civilised and will only break traction in a straight line in the wet .

Bikes will always lose out when the speeds get high, against a properly powerful car, its basic maths. Means nothing but that doesn't stop the internerds arguing forever of course

It was just to show people that it wasn't a guessed at figure, but one derived from having it engine dynoed, backed up by a dyno sheet with the precise figures :
