Thought I'd post this in something other than the moaning forum !. Went to see it this evening, and it is absolutely brilliant, pure entertainment and the best Bond for years, if not ever. I highly recommend it !!

Thought it was very good myself, but think Casino Royale just shades it.

I saw this last night - I really enjoyed it and thought that there's a depth and subtlety to it that hasn't always been there in Bond films. Some great performances and cinematography; the introduction in Turkey is like the beginning of Casino Royale, only more so, and some of the shots at the beginning of the third act (without wishing to give anything away) were stunningly beautiful to my mind. Great film.

Saw it earlier. Thought the last 45 mins were weak, but the rest was magic. Especially in Shanghai and the casino scene. Brilliant cinema.

Went to see it early sat morning. Thought it was good with some epic shots taken.
Shot of the film for me was the Aston up in Scotland, the car, the landscape, just fantastic

Saw it last night and it was bloody excellent. I have to say this year has been superb for films, Avengers, DKR, Prometheus barring continuity weirdness with Alien and of course one of the funniest films I've seen, Ted. O/T but Tarantinos new film with Jamie Foxx and Leonardo Dicaprio in looks very good as well.

Saw it last night, I enjoyed it despite the throbbing pain in my finger after I tried cutting it off. It's a good film, some nice touches for the long time bond fan.

This, the part in the art gallery made pretty much the whole cinema laugh.

The revYu you've all been waiting for: Definitely the artiest Bond film ever.
A very different take and all the more laudable for that. Javier Bardem was superb and could not have been more different from his scary turn in No Country for Old Men. The best 9.9 out of 10 Bond film ever? Er, no.
Too many annoying bits, e.g. SPOILER ALERT: - when they were on the train, why couldn't she have fired more than one shot rather than being shocked at the result of her first shot? - if Bond was going to do his amazing get out of jail acrobatic gunplay on the island, why not do it a few seconds earlier and save that person? - when escaping from bad guys on a dark moor, probably best not to use a sodding torch... - most obviously of all, when dealing with the "world's most dangerous hacker", probably best not to plug his laptop into MI6's network... etc, etc. Of course all Bond films are escapist entertainment, and I did enjoy this one (10x better than Quantum of Solace for example), but not the best ever by a long shot IMO.
