Ive found myself doing the same thing while stuck in traffic and its pulling my nasal hairs out. I must point out that this is not picking my nose but time spent doing male grooming as I don't want a hairy pair of nostrils. Its got to a point where its now become a habit and my nostrils are hair free. Even the tiniest hair growth can be plucked by my skilled thumb and finger.
This relieves the boredom for me. How do you relieve the boredom of a jam?

I think we've had this before. I scribe mm-perfect slo-motion racing lines. And I used to make v8 noises with my gob*

+1 playing with man bits. Don't really have much nasal hair to pick but I'd imagine that could get awkward if there's traffic next to you. Often get the dash cleaner out for a quick shine.

On the subject of nasal hair pulling it makes my eyes water, but only the eye on the side that I've plucked from. I mentioned this to a friend who reported the same thing happened to him. Does anyone else experience this?

There are few things that a more painful than the pulling of nasal hairs (particularly near the front of your nose). Lego and upturned plug are the obviously more painful propositions- luckily they don't often appear in cars!
