I believe it's in the latest edition of Octane, rather than Evo.

There's a write up in the current fast fleet. I won't be happy if there's a full article in Octane though

Impossible, never read Octane. I picked up a copy of EVO recently flicked through and read the article on the power steering fit to the Countach. Reason for interest. A friend is rebuilding a Ferrari 400GT manual and a part of the drive of this car that I found could be hugely improved was reducing the steering load required through fast corners. This system Harry has fit will make a 400GT far easier to drive quickly and a darn sight safer too, this is a very very fast and underrated car from my pre-rebuild experience.

There is a two page article in the current Octane ( 108 ). Basically full of praise for how it transforms the Countach, makes it much more fun to drive because you can work it harder, with no loss of steering feedback. The only downside is loss of reach adjustment.

Forgive my ignorance, and considering the number of your total posts, are you one of EVO team?

Nah, I'm nothing to do with evo. I just post sh*te on their forums EZ Powersteerings website is here, by the way: http://www.ezpowersteering.co.uk/ If you're on twitter, Harry usually replies to questions (he's @harrym_evo) Your friends project sounds interesting. And expensive!

Thanks a million, I'll pass this on. Expensive, not really in cash but his time on it has been considerable. He has driven this car across, through, under and over Europe, errrm enthusiastically, loves it and hence the decision to take it apart and put it back together knowing absolutely everything is right. The finished article is going to be interesting to say the least. The sound from the engine and exhaust at a steady 3k goes through you and everyone around you. Open the throttle and it is like a sound of a madman has taken a wrong turn out of Le Mans from forty years ago. The revised exhaust system will be even freer breathing, and if fortune shines on him then a set of upgraded carbs will be put on which takes it Daytona racecar specification. A manual 400GT was one of Enzo Ferrari's every day hacks, can understand why. After driving this car I emerged and looked at the unusual body styling differently, far more positively and appreciated driving what essentially is a Ferrari Daytona wearing a more modern Pininfarina suit.
