CLIO V6, TRACKDAY SPINS VID

Surrender Monkey
The V6 being an utterly brilliant cow at Bedford today..

Now don't all rush in at once to suggest a lighter right foot and some lessons on track...

Nick Trott had it right, its such a dynamically challenging car, one minute its somewhat predictable.. the next it just 'gives up'.

Looks like you had fun! They need a diff in my opinion
mine went ok though

Some impressive mashing and sawing there, looks bloody awful tbh! Did you get black flagged?

--

A yellow loltus

Sounds good though - is it standard?

"Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races."

Sounds great.

Handling looks shocking. I counted one slide that looked enjoyable. :?

I guess there is significant pleasure to be gained from achieving a slide in a car that wants to eat you at every opportunity? :?

What tyres on the rear?

--

The Clio 200 - has gone :(

Are you doing that on purpose?? Massive lift-off on turn-in in a SWB rear engined car, it will do that.

Cheers,
Mike

Holy sh!t,every spin it reminded me my Glolf 'crash' i had two months ago with fvcked back tyres.

Surely that sounds amazing and like no normal 3.0 v6.

From the vid it looks like either you are a sh!t driver  or the car has some serious problems, that surely is critical, looks like an old Porsche 911-like behavior.

Nasty slippy kerbs in the wet - good to keep off them ;)

You are Felipe Massa AICMFP.

Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.

Just came across your entry in the blog section btw. It does look rather superb in black. 8)

Great photo and a rare moment: it is going in a straight line.

No - he'd been coming from that direction - it just ended up facing that way. ;)

Facking hell, you're right

Turning in on a trailing throttle, lifting off mid slide = garuanteed spinny spinny action

I feel like I should have a go in one of those, if they didn't look so bloody vile inside i'd probably own one.

--

and so it begins...

Constant throttle is the way to drive DANGEROUS RWD CARS through a corner ;)

I'm also surprised you didn't put the power on to at least one of those spins to slide it out the corner.

I'm even more surprised you didn't pull in and get sme tuition :D

Buy a mk2 MR2.
