I REALLY WANT A BLACK SERIES

noice 8)

Watched this earlier. It's a great video, but I'm not sure how valid it is to criticise the M3 GTS for its pricetag and in the same breath laud the Black Series for being priced sensibly.

Like Fresh Prince of Bel Air ?

Rather have the previous CLK Black. Anyone else think the rear wing of the GTS and the Merc looks pathetic?

Great vid. 911 4.0 one careful owner :)

There's something odd about the sound in that video, I think the sound from the external shots is far too quiet.

I'll take the RS 4.0. Agree that the new CLK Black doesn't have the same want factor as the old one.

Entirely pointless

Agreed about the wings.

If you're going to do it, do it properly...

Join with you on that one.

Never say no to a panda.

Love the sound of the C63 on full song.
I think the GT3 time probably had a 1-2second advantage since it is his daily drive, but is still the best on the track.

Throw me the keys to any of them and I would gladly keep it.

For me, the M3 GTS just isn't special enough, especially not 50-60k more than a regular M3 with the competition pack.

I'd understand why you'd be tempted with the Merc. The thunderous noise and pumped-up steroidal looks.

But everything about the Gt3 is just right. Manual gearbox, no unnecessary buttons or complications and that engine! WANT!

so much want for the AMG in black

you could scare people off the road in that thing!

Interesting that he had all 3 of them understeering, must have got Audi to set them up

WIBBLE

Popped into Merc World for (overpriced, but ok) coffee, they have a C63 Black in the AMG area (maybe the very same car?). It looked fvcking lovely.

If i won the lotto, its the first place i'd go. And i'd put my name down for an SLS Black Series too.

The front end looks amazing, i think its the pointy splitter. Amazing.

Probably due to the cold track temp and the front tyres not
warmin up properly

The spoilers on the cars :? The GT3 is potentially the least offensive but still, meh!

Yeah, the gts an black spoilers look awful, totally out of place. The gt3 one is ace though.

Cheers

Rich

part of it's because there's no angle on them, it makes them look like stick on tat rather than properly functional.

the m3 one at least has multiple holes, i reckon it would look loads better with the front tipped down a bit. probably wouldnt do much good for fuel economy though ;) the amg one doesnt even look to have any means of adjustment.

cheers,

Harry

No, will be down to the geometry being set up for road use, where understeer is deliberately dialled in to prevent normal people from killing themselves, along with making the inside edges of the tyres last longer when they're driven in straight lines. Put a decent amount of negative camber and some toe-out and it will stop the understeer (but make it nervy in a straight line).

This video has just made me want a GT3 RS 4.0 even more (if that was possible ;) ) :(.

Nordschleife - there's only two barriers to worry about - the ones on the left and the ones on the right!

Are you using your real life knowledge to point out the mistakes of my Gran Turismo 5 knowledge? Get out
