The more rugged and utilitarian the better If it can't be parked underwater for a week and start on the button, it's too girly. Dave!

Gah, you should have said, I've got a 4720 & a 7820 sitting in the garage and was thinking about ebaying one or both of them !

Steve, what colour displays? I haven't had any notification of dispatch by this chap and I'm expecting it to be a hassle which may end up being a refund...

They're both the yellow/red switchable, the yellow being a reasonable match to BMW orange. I'll try and sort out some pics.

The one I may end up receiving is a 4725 so blue which I quite like - not sure there's much lighting in the E34 to match to anyway so they'd all be fine.

Alister_ said... How come Unimogs are MOT exempt?
Jobbo is correct, you register them as a tractor. This limits the use of the vehicle on the road though which is useless if you live in Yorkshire and want to go green landing. Technically I'd have to trailer it to the next valley A lot of the aunimog owners don't seem to mind this though, they'll opt for the cheaper tax but happily lug 2+ tonnes up and down the country on the back of a 15 to the gallon car

eBay seller emailed me today - he doesn't even have the GPS aerial (so its not actually working and not even possible to check whether the unit is working). Good of him to wait 4 or 5 days before admitting this. Since he's pretty illiterate I asked him for a refund. He was reluctant but has said he will do so now. We'll see how quickly. Steve, I would be most interested in one of yours...

I don't get why they wait, they're say there bidding/emailing/whatever and they seem unable to open up a new tab and just log into PayPal to do whatever. I honestly don't understand why people can't do such a smile thing straight away.

Odd isn't it, I've never not just paid straight away - if I've won it, I want it ASAP.
