Well, never thought 12 months ago, I'd be cleaning out my own premises today!
the spraybooth is going to be constructed in the far right hand corner where the lightweight is sitting. So if anyone knows of sealed type strip lights (x 16!!!) or electric fans and filters, speak now! Mike dropped by with the Supra for a chinwag, plus he helped out shunting the cars about Beware, if you pay a visit over the next few weeks, you may be put to work!

The Capri is a V8 powered ex touring car, which I've landed the Body refurb on!
Here are some earlier pics of it. Its been at Terry's place, literally 100yds away from my work shop for ages awaiting a start, but the engine is on its way back from the builders now, so this should sooner rather than later now

Also, Terry has comissioned me to paint the chassis of a very special car he is currently building from scratch which will be at he Goodwood Revival next year x eleventy!!111!. I'm sworn to secrecy as to what it is, but it features 750bhp at the wheels and 1100 lb/ft of torque

Dave, make sure you go OCD with the camera following your builds / restos - the last thing you need is for people to confuse you for some wrench monkey. All the best with the venture, having seen your work on here you deserve great success (c) Borat.

This. Plus, it's great free PR... oh and have you written in for your "me & my car" slot with the AE86? Do it.

Thanks one and all I've set up this thread specifically to be filled with anything interesting that goes on there.
On occasion, some work will be detailed after completion, due to not wanting to compromise security! I won't be disclosing the location publically either for the same reason. As mentioned before, interested parties can contact me via <dave flew at hotmail dot co dot uk> I am in planning with clients for four separate builds over the next few months which is a massive boost for me and a clear indication that I'm doing the right thing. I never honestly thought I would get the chance to do this, so the last 3 odd weeks have been fantastic to say the least. Dad isn't overly impressed with this change of events unfortunately, but he'll have to get used to it sharpish. I have a deep passion for cars that I cannot pretend isn't there any longer. Again, I'm very chuffed with the support you lot have given me in my short time on here, its been a huge confidence boost and a major factor in my decision to strike out on my own. Lastly, I would like to thank my clients, for this opportunity to work for/with you on your cars. It really is a pleaure to be of service. Cheers all, Flewy

Oops, forgot the 'me and my cars' feature. It does kind of feel a bit wrong asking to be in EVO, as I'd rather be recognised independantly for my skills. That said when things are up and running smoothly and the place looks the part, I'll fire off an E-mail to Rog and see what happens.

I'm spending my own savings dude, so I'm not exactly rolling in it, but total spend so far for me is £494.74 yes thats it. Its cost nothing in reality mate, bit of good luck finding my own unit but the main break was finding a guy with a tidy unit that would rent me his spare ramp for £25 a day. In my first week I turned a profit of nearly £800. Well worth the risk IMO and I'm so glad I've done it.
In other news 'booth construction starts tomorrow too, so lots of pics of timber to follow. Geez, theres so much I reckon I could open a timber shop too
