Considering the importance of vehicle weight to the EVO ideal and efficiency, wouldn't it be worthy of a line in the Specification box in the Driven section? Certainly it's more relevant than top speed, if you really must prioritize - especially with all the German cars being limited to 155mph.

And expected life of synchro rings under "normal" usage. In both miles and years.

The MTBF of synchro rings when subjected to "evo" driving is more relevant, shurely?

But how to define "evo driving" Preach? I've literally been up all night for the last 4 nights thinking about it. We have slammers, ticklers, one person who thinks DDC is still worthwhile, and Dan - who in one movement spins up the input shaft via dragging the clutch during a normal H&T change - thus mimicing a H&T DDC change without actually doing DDC. It's chaos I tell you sir.

I just match speed and ram the gears home clutchlessly, Mik.
The crunk tells you you're doing it right.
Metal on metal. Like real men do. I then advertise my car for sale, claiming that I double declutch every gear change and that the car is immaculate.

I agree, have often looked for the weight and ended up having to scan the text to find it. I'd go one further though. Invest in a set of corner scales and show us the corner weights for each car with a 75kg driver and half a tank of fuel. Not very relevant on some cars, but would be quite interesting (I think) on higher-end stuff.

Corner scales - They have already invested, and use them for the full tests. Don't think it is realistic to expect them to drag them abroad for "driven" snippets, though listing the weight in the stats box should be perfectly feasible.

But then you'll end up comparing evo weights with manufacturer's published weights.
