YOUR FLEET RUNNING REPORTS

What kind of connection? If lightning then it's more likely that the cable isn't genuine and your phone has kicked off. Ask me how I know.

I believe it is actually a genuine cable though it's a weird converter from the old iPhone 4 style oblong clip in connection to lightning.

I'll try with the wife's phone and see if that works. Weird that it doesn't acknowledge you've plugged anything in or even charge though as I've got non-apple USB to lightning leads that work fine.

Tried removing the fluff from the Lightning port on the phone?

Wow was I impressed

I did have that issue with a previous iPhone 6 - it was quite grim how much detritus came out of the socket

This iPhone isn't that old though and works fine everywhere else other than the car - I've plugged it into the laptop just now (with a non-apple cable) and it's charging and launches itunes automatically.

Street Series 2. After mulling over various options they seem to fit the bill best as a compromise between a bit adjustability for track and no being overly hard on road. Craig at CMC says he fits loads of these and for the lighter weight of the S1 they do the job perfectly. He fits them to K20 cars he's converting. Plus they are £600 cheaper than the NTR's.

There are threads on SELOC that some folk say the NTR's are harsh on rough roads. Then others on the same thread argue that they aren't \o/

After not having had a full wage since February the £600 saving swung it.

Good stuff, can't imagine you'll be disapointed.

I had the same conundrum and came to the same conclusion as you, and fitted the NSS2. Everyone on SELOC suggests either getting Bilstien (road) or NTR40's (track) but neither seemed to fit for me, the NSS seemed a good compromise.

I don't find them harsh at all - although I'm not sure what settings Dan used. For the cash (I got them for <£600, I think) I'm more than happy with them.

So the pick up truck is many order of magnitudes louder now  It's stupidly loud, almost painfully loud standing behind it.

Sounds a lot like a Ford GT ;)

How about not having a sig at all?

Collected the Morgan from it's annual service and MOT today. Bill was pleasant, but the rain flooded 150+miles drive home was no fun.
No drama, some advisories and a loverly V8 howl through the Hatfield tunnel.

Rode videomicro microphone and Manfrotto suction cup for windowmounting the DSLR ordered and to be delivered tomorrow so I can play around taking some in-car video at the weekend :)

Not sure how well it will work without an image stabilised lens but we'll see...

Ordered a fresh set of Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance tyres for the Galaxy to replace the mishmash it came with (Roadstone somethings x3, Michelin Primacy x1).

Rears are near the wear markers, fronts varying. First job on the list.
