Had a great day. Very enjoyable. The car was superb. The track was ace (as usual) and the fun was had by all. I even drove home under my own steam. Job's a good'un

Had a great day myself too, car performed pretty well once I got my confidence up on some of the bends. Paul went quite white while out with me Dave, hope he's ok That 75mph slide can't have helped....
I'll get what footage I did get off camera asap too. Got any decent pics Dave? We had a good run home up from Chesterfield too, A619, A6 and A537/A54 were a good wakeup drive after three hours slog across from Cadwell. Nice to get home and find my Evo waiting for me on the mat too

Good crash by mr 'all the gear, no idea' Evo 6, too. Your cars all looked very good on track Overall the ability was very low to my eyes?

That Lancer was a arrive an drive thingy wasn't it? Which explains why it was always slow and always had a queue behind it Can't say I'm surprised it crashed tbh, and part of me is glad, it was a PITA on track. Ability overall was average I'd say, not many were dangerous but not many were that quick either (are you listening Mr stripped out fancy pants ITR ) Quite a few 205 breakdowns too... there's a shocker. How come you didn't wander over and say Hi Jon, I didn't realise you were there... (useless with faces/names anyway)

Ah ha, makes sense on the Evo, explains why it was being driven so poorly all day long. The Ultima's were a bit of a joke, apparently being 'run in' (my fat ass). Had a good chin-wag with the instructor for the day, is he a racer? Nice to meet an instructor who had a personality. Had to scoot at midday, didn't really get chance to say hello. Cheers,
Jon

that the guy that did the briefing? He was ok yeah, I had a quick chat with him about the best mothod for Halls and the Hairpin, was helpful. Ultimas were a PITA too, I could have cycled round quicker.

No budget for trackdays (apart from Oulton in Nov) til next year After talking to Matt last night I've decided I'm bored of Anglesey and need to get back onto a more flowing track

Evo crashed under instruction last time I went to watch at Croft. Tons of grip - right up to the point you have none and bam!

I really do want to do it again as I had one of the best trackdays I've had yesterday but finances and diary conspire against more this year apart from November's trip to Oulton. Will pay Cadwell another visit next year though
