£50K TOO SPEND....
Previous | 12 | Next

What would you buy? thinking of changing my car this year. Doesn't have too be practical just fast and fun. I have looked at R8s but the current RS3 is quicker than the ones in my price range. So basically any time of car as long as its quick and fun!

520d in pale blue with folding mirrors?

Your such a grandma nazi. :?

The RS3 may be faster but I certainly know which I'd prefer out of that and an R8. I don't get quite why so many people get hung up on 0-60 times or bhp, there's a lot more to a car than that. Not like the R8 is slow anyway!

The deposit :D Finance the rest of it...

And in the grand forum tradition of recommending exactly what you've done yourself:

Keep the 911 and start modding it for track work.
Buy a Vantage as your "posh" car.
Buy a 530d as your everyday car.

Personally, I'd be getting some sort of Litchfield-fettled GTR for that money.

No need to sacrifice practical - this has it all. Bags of space, fast, fun and the Handling is Sublime. Plus 45K left over for Hookers and Coke - you know it makes sense. ;)

It's always crass to suggest what throngs you've owned, so I am going with Evora or a late Gen-F supercharged VXR8. Not that I can see any for sale at the moment. 8)

I don't know what "what throngs" means, but I quite like it. 8)
