The Workshop has been amusing me of late, he seems fairly knowledgeable and has a down to earth presenting style that I quite enjoy.

It was amusing rants like these that got me hooked:

Techmoan is great - he does some funny stuff at the end of some video's too.

I already subscribe to both those channels, Ravi.

I'll have to scan through my subs at some point but Nostalgia Nerd and The 8-Bit Guy May appeal if you like those. I had a lovely chat with Flewy last year about Bosnian Bill's Lock Lab too.

Oh, add Stand Up Maths, Numberphile and Computerphile to the list too.

Wow was I impressed

Yep - already have those! I like the 8-Bit guys cheap midi keyboard stuff as in my mind I am a Lord of Synth myself.*

*Can barely play.

An essential one is Red Letter Media, though I'm sure most already have it:

minutephysics - Short videos on Physics and related topics.

Vsauce - More science and maths stuff, deals with some quite heavy stuff sometimes, but always interesting.

AvE - Irreverent tool teardowns and other nonsense.

Tom Scott has some interesting videos on topics including computers, science and language, but he's taking a month off at the moment so is uploading guest vids on his channel.

We should have a single, ongoing, number plate spotted thread.

I don't subscribe, but have seen a few interesting videos on air travel on Wendover Productions channel.

I quite like EngineeringExplained. The bloke who runs the channel does most of his explanations on a white board and sounds a bit like Kermit the Frog:

Tom Scott is good.

I hope you all watch the Slow Mo Guys and Smarter Every Day. And Backyard Scientist for his disregard of safety.

I've been a subscriber to Linus since he was at NCIX. I don't watch everything, but he does do good content, and worth subbing just to keep track of the PC industry.

AvE (Arduino Versus Evil) is very tech (mostly mech biased) and does BOLTR - Bored Of Lame Tool Reviews - where he buys a tool (be it cheap, or pricey) and strips it down to see how it works and where they've skimped.

BigCliveDotCom is also worth a poke.

I'll post a couple of example vids tonight when I get home.
