I assume you're all raiding ATMs - choice of car for it at the moment.

Is it two years already you have had the Polo ?

Yep, every Golf R owner raids ATM's.

I think I've seen that on pornhub.

You should never go ATM!

FWIW I'm dissuaded from leasing a Golf R Estate because of the frequency of them getting stolen.

I was counting the cost of not leasing Nics MCS the other day - so far its had new discs pads on the front, service, tax, two tyres compared to 96 a month for the C1 - now while that was a shite car it didnt cost me much.

Im still pro leasing - estate is what 35k now? 7.5k over 2 years and 1 150 quid oil service to pay.

Does the spreadsheet show a break even point for the MCS?

I'm only planning to buy rather than lease next time to get something specific. My 2 years seems to have been used up too quickly.

Spreadsheet needs updating! I've spent well over a grand on it since we bought the car.

Year 3 in this golf and I must say I am not bored of it. It's not a terribly exciting experience to own/borrow. Noone is impressed by it these days apart from the occasional nod from owners or yoot. But at this time of year they really shine. It's all very well having a mega bmw or rwd performance car but it'll be shown up by a mundane golf through this season.

Bought but never driven yes

I'd love a Golf R. Grey with bronze wheels.

I would buy one outright for £18.5k for a 2015 car and run it for 6-8 months then sell to get the cost of insurance back and some fuel back again.

But for obvious reasons..
